Schools Out - Subarus Out Training Day

It's School Holidays so the Kids are out, and its time we go back in! This trip will be a half day training or morning adventures, followed by a social pub lunch near Mandurah by the canals.

Half of Hunt

Our trip will travel east as far as Bodallin – where we will bush camp at the old railway dam – and visit or pass about half of Hunt’s wells, plus several other wells and points of interest.

WEDNESDAY: Magic views and wandoo too

This mid-week day trip takes in some magic views and forest tracks. It begins in Sawyers Valley and is suitable for all vehicles and driving experience. It's school holiday time and kids are welcome. No pets though, as we will be in National Parks for parts of the trip. Limit of 8 vehicles.

Subaru Rally

Join us for a mystery drive as you hunt for things to answer questions.

We will finish have the finish at Kanyana Wildlife Park where we can do a tour and also get some information on what to do if we find an injured animal on our travels.

You can do just the rally, just the tour or both,

Barging around Dirk Hartog Island

This is a first for a Club Trip, as the Club has never been to DHI before. Come and have a look at the island visited by Dirk Hartog on 25th October 1616, when he made landfall with his ship the Eendracht at Cape Inscription - the first recorded landing of a European in Australia.

Gallivant the Goldfields

Join us for an explore of the Goldfields. A mix of bush camps and caravan parks, bitumen and gravel. Spending time looking at areas a lot of us just drive through or would not consider a place with many things to do.

Explore the Wheatbelt

NUMBERS NEED TO BE CONFIRMED URGENTLY.

To end out the Galivant the Goldfields trip we will be spending the weekend in the wheatbelt exploring. We will require a good shower by then.

If you want to come out for the weekend to join us we will likely just get out to see the rocks and maybe museums in the area but will very much play it by ear as we go depending on who is with us.

Lake Leschenaultia picnic

My granddaughter was upset on the last club trip she went on (mini golf) as she wanted to go on a bush walk. So we are going for a walk around Lake Leschenaultia and you are welcome to join in and have a picnic after, though I doubt we will be staying that long as it will be nap time.

This is an annual event. We need members to volunteer on our Stand alongside other Clubs within the 4WD Association of WA. Come along and enjoy the company, the people, the 4WDs and what's on offer.

Kaarakin Clean-up Day and BBQ

There will be a BBQ after the clean-up. See the attached flyer.

We need at least 2 Members from each Club to come out and help clean up the area around the building.

This will just be a general clean, so please bring along - Leaf Blowers, Gloves, Rakes, Clippers, brooms, shovels, ladders and anything else you think you'll need to help clean up the outside area.

The meeting room and the toilets will also be swept, mopped and cleaned. there is cleaning equipment available.

Morning tea will be provided for those in attendance.

TIME: 8 AM

Southwest Coast Beach Run

Our annual beach run is on again in the area between Tims Thicket and Myalup. We will decide closer to the day as to whether we go North or South. We'll also stop off at Old Coast rd Brewery on our way back

Christmas Celebration!

Hi Everyone

This year’s Subaru Club of WA Christmas function is being held at Whiteman Park on Saturday 3^rd December 2022.

Come along anytime between 8.30am and 5pm – although the urn won’t be boiling until 9am! – and join members at the traditional end of year Christmas celebration. It is a great opportunity to catch up with fellow members and reflect on club activities and trips undertaken during the year and do some brain storming for trips in 2023!

We have booked a lovely shaded and grassed area with ready access to parking, tables, barbecues and toilet facilities.
