Note: Maximum 8 cars. As we will be camping in a Conservation Area, please leave your pets at home. Camper trailer or small van OK if you don’t mind taking it on gravel/dirt roads.

It’s been a while since we were last there so let’s revisit the Karara Rangelands Conservation Park.

The Karara Rangelands Park is situated between Payne’s Find, Yalgoo and Perenjori. It is about 420 km NE of Perth. The Park consists of what were 6 former pastoral stations including Karara, Warriedar, Thundelarra and Lochada and is now managed by DBCA as a conservation reserve.

Why not start your morning with a little exploring on your own? Wander through the charming art shops at the Edenvale Heritage Precinct. You can stroll around the historic buildings, pop into the Roger May Machinery Museum, admire the Heritage Rose Gardens, or visit St John’s Church and cemetery at your own pace.

 Or stretch your legs and walk along the river and cross the iconic Pinjarra Suspension Bridge.

And if you time it right, treat yourself to a morning tea of fresh scones and tea at the Edenvale Heritage Tea Rooms — just be sure to save room for lunch!!

Lunch kicks off at Noon (12:00 PM) in the Doctor’s Lounge at the Exchange Hotel — across the road from Edenvale. Enjoy a delicious Christmas-themed meal surrounded by good company.
